My first VHS generation loss experiment

I got bored yesterday and decided to do an experiment! An experiment on generation loss which took me an entire day to do. Since I don't have a capture card, I used my phone as the capture card, and recorded my Panasonic's blue screen with me going through the OSD (on-screen display) on one tape, then duplicated it onto another tape and so on for 30 or so generations until my phone's camera couldn't even focus anymore while the original video itself that was recorded, was absolutely destroyed at the very end.

Equipment used:
RCA 27R411T 25-inch CRT TV (video output)
Sanyo VWM-800 VCR (playback)
Panasonic VCRPlus+ Omnivision VCR (recorder)
ZTE Rapido smartphone (makeshift capture card)
Windows Live Movie Maker (editing the generations together, amplifying the individual videos' volumes, and then labeling the generations)

Sorry for the low video quality, my camera's bit-rate wasn't agreeing with me when I was recording this.
