A quick lunch break UL predator spinning session turned into a surprisingly eventful day.
I started the session targeting zander, but no bites came. So I switched to the Spinmad CMA blade bait hoping to trigger an asp strike. The plan worked — I did get a hit, but the fish came off quickly.
Eventually a beautiful ide couldn’t resist the lure. The blade produced very strong vibes, so I tried pairing it with smaller trailers to reduce the vibration, but it was still far more aggressive than a classic spinner. A few chubs also showed up on the spoon later, making the session even more enjoyable.
Overall it was a successful ultralight predator fishing trip, even though it lasted only a short time.
