India’s Cold Desert Biosphere Reserve (Himachal Pradesh, Lahaul-Spiti) has been included in the UNESCO World Network of Biosphere Reserves (WNBR). यह भारत का 13वां UNESCO-recognised Biosphere Reserve है और पहला High-altitude Cold Desert Biosphere Reserve भी।
भारत में कुल 18 Biosphere Reserves हैं, जिनमें से 13 अब World Network of Biosphere Reserves में शामिल हो चुके हैं।
