Today is August 5, 2025 so I decided to create a little in-camera editing effort of ze sanctuary! This was around 8 AM which is about 2 hours later than my usual time of cleaning and changing waters and placing food for feral cats, birds and stragglers. Raccoons leave a mess behind due to their peculiar food-washing
habits. Each water bowl is always dirty but I don't show the cleaning process as I can't do that and hold a phone camera 🤳 haha.
Vee actually climbed a tree this morning! Thankfully the squirrel 🐿️ was faster - whew! Her kittens were playing but always dart back to the thorny tree bushes/vines. Clutch has started to shun her 4-months-old male kitten which has me worried. Soon she will have to leave him to fend for himself. Not cool just as hurricane season gets tricky down here in South Florida, USA!
I think of you each time I see a butterfly 🦋 - missing you, Mom. Anyway, it dropped down to 81 degrees after a rain shower, mighty fine relief for all animals living outside!
