Today in the Church Year, we celebrate the memory of Elizabeth of Hungary, a princess who donated her "time, talent, and treasure" for the sake of the poor in her midst. She became a member of the "Third Order" of Franciscans, a group of people who lived out their daily lives following the example and rule of St. Francis of Assisi.
Today's leader of prayer is Fr. Jim Bernacki, one of the priest associates of All Saints Episcopal Church, Concord, North Carolina.
Today's Service will be the last one for the foreseeable future, as we pause "Noonday Prayer" during the time between rectors. We wish to thank those of you who have regularly or occasionally been part of this online service in the past.
