When Not to Buy the Dip!

Buying the dip is usually a good idea for the broader market, but there are clues when you want to avoid buying the sell-off on certain days. The pace of the sell-off or the velocity of price dropping in combination with the expected move from the options market can paint a better picture of the selling pressure's aggressiveness.
