This beginning ideas of this song date back to 2016, when a friend asked me to sing a hook over one of his raps. The hook didn't end up being used, but was later developed into a full song when producer Brent Kolatalo heard it and offered to develop it into a full song.
The video was captured in the fall of 2019 by Glashier.

This video is a single-take ride through a brooklyn street in the back of a pickup truck. The truth is, I tried pressuring my good friend who was driving, to take us on a much more perilous patch of highway, crossing over a 500 foot bridge with the most incredible view below, but she had qualms going much over 25 with me riding in the back. Is no one else ready to risk their life for a good shot these days, or is it just me??!
