Today begins with a bus ride & then lemons hanging in the trees at Castello Pandone in Venafro. Of course.. we had to pick some 🍋 Between the lemons, the rosemary, and the castle walls, the whole place felt magical 🤩
Inside, I shared the history of Castello Pandone and showed the incredible horse frescoes painted for Count Enrico in the 1500s.
Later, we brang our own panini to the restaurant (Canada could never 😂) and had the most amazing crema di caffè cold, sweet, and perfect. We even visited a traditional bell factory, though I couldn’t film inside.
The day ended back home with spaghetti, total exhaustion, and one giant bug invading the house 🐞 (saved by zio Anto and Franki)
