Nights in Encino is a live, improvised performance weaving romantic rumba rhythms with the rich, resonant voice of the Native American flute.

Performed in Encino, California at a Native American flute retreat, this piece features Christina Tijerina on a Woodsounds dream amboyna burl flute (key of A), alongside world class musicians Kalani Das and Gilbert Levy on percussion, Gilberto Gonzalez on Spanish guitar, and Toby Harwell on bass.

This improvisation is a gathering that speaks the language of the soul, blending world influences with individual expression. Immense gratitude to these incredible musicians for their talent and energy in creating this moment of musical connection. It was amazing to share this space with them.
