I hiked the connecting route east from the parking area for the Greenbush segment, skirting Elkhart Lake, until my turnaround point at Highway 67. I drove to Sheboygan and spent the night at the nearly deserted Kohler Andrae State Park. Lake Michigan was wild and windy, but I slept snugly in my sleeping bag. After coffee the next morning, I drove back to resume my IAT journey on the LaBudde Creek segment.
