While hiking through remote mountain wilderness, I discovered an old wooden log cabin hidden among the trees. There’s no signal here, no electricity — only a wood-burning stove to keep warm and complete solitude. I decided to stay overnight in this isolated shelter, bring back a bit of coziness, cook dinner over the fire, and experience what life feels like far away from people. Living alone in nature, both in winter and summer, surrounded by silence, mountains, and the crackling of the stove — this place feels like another world.
