The Indigo League Pokémon DVDs are my top choice for watching the Pokémon anime. But these Pokémon DVDs are BANNED! Or at least very hard to find now. Due to the Pokémon episode of Holiday Hi-Jynx, and the controversy surrounding it, the Indigo League Pokémon DVDs from 2006-2008 from VIZ Media are now banned. VIZ Media re-released the Indigo Pokémon series in 2014 with the episode removed, and now these Pokémon DVDs are the only way to watch that episode.
