ElderWatch recently conducted a survey and found that many Coloradans 50+ want to invest, but don't know where to begin, and/or fear the risk and potential losses that may be involved. Unfortunately, investment fraud is growing, and in 2024, Americans reported losing more money to investment fraud and scams - $5.7 billion - than to any other type of scam, per the Federal Trade Commission. This represents a 24% increase from 2023.
