How and why I started wearing hijab as a NEW MUSLIM

This video highlights how I gained resilience and self discovery within my Deen. It’s a little bit of tough love to those who are weary of starting their journey to wearing hijab.
Throughout the start of my journey I had a lot of outside noise that forced me to change the narrative on WHY I chose to follow the sunnah.

I didn’t allow the passive aggressive comments from people whom I thought had my best interest at heart detour me from finding my own love for the hijab.
This may be a dose of tough love and some things may sound harsh but it is coming from a place of true love and reassurance that I know EXACTLY how you may feel or may have felt.
Just know that you are not alone through this journey. It may not be an easy one but I pray that you choose your deen everyday.

Have trust (tawakkul) in Allah, knowing that He is among His 99 names, the best of planners. Embrace the journey with courage, knowing that each step forward is a testament to your strength and devotion.
