I’ve heard many hunters speak of the October lull lately and I certainly can relate. It has been a little warm for my liking and it seems that food is plentiful. There are acorns galore out there and the deer don't have to travel far to eat their fill. I’ve bounced around between several public parcels and I have found decent deer sign in most places but I have struggled to have deer cross my path. The challenge is an appeal to the pursuit.
