Happy birthday Ollie! Whenever I write these songs for you, I’m always thinking: what do I want to convey? What emotions do I want to express, what messages do I want to say? Every time, they tend to be a bit similar. I’m always hoping you can smile, I’m always hoping you can be joyful, that you can find success, whatever success is for you, and that you always know how much you are loved, whether that’s from fans, friends, or family.
Similar to Stitched Message, I wanted to make a song about wishes, a song that is in itself a gift and promise that no matter what should happen, we’ll always be there for you.
Things may change, but deep down we’ll always be your silly little guys, and you’ll always be the person we love and support with all our hearts.
