Preparing the coffee bag…
Steps: If sewing cover (I used 4 stitch length and 3.5 stitch width)
1. Remove wire closure
2. Open bag, pulling at back seam and side seams. Smooth out.
3. Wash with hot soapy water. Allow to dry. Trim outer edges of bag that has no print on it.
4. Trace around the Amazon packaging, adding enough extra to wrap around the front of the notebook binding. Give yourself about 1/4 inch from the edge for sewing.
5. Trim outside of stitching. From the top side, sew channels into the bag and packaging, creating a quilting effect.
6. Bind edges. Sew seam binding with a heavy needle. Be careful around the corners.
Can also use duct tape around the edges instead of sewing.
