Über den Enzensberger Weg und Rotwand zur Herman von Barth Hütte | T4 & I (Tag 1)

Greetings,

In this video I take you on a two-day tour to the Großer Krottenkopf (2658 m), the highest mountain in the Allgäu Alps. In this part, however, we first go to the Hermann von Barth Hut via the Rotwand (2262 m) and the Enzensbergerweg.

The tour runs mainly on marked paths and climbs and is maximum in the range T4 & I (UIAA).

Elbigenalp parking lot - Kasermandl: distance: 2.6km, elevation gain: 350m↑ 10m↓: walking time: 45 to 60 minutes.
Kasermandl - branch off to the Rotwand: route: 1.9km, vertical meters: 170m↑ 0m↓: walking time: 30 to 45 minutes
Branch off to the Rotwand - Rotwand: route: 1.7km, vertical meters: 680m↑ 0m↓: walking time: 90 to 120 minutes
Rotwand - Hermann von Barth Hütte: route: 4.5km, vertical meters: 80m↑ 210m↓: walking time: 90 to 120 minutes

Route: 10.7km, elevation gain: 1280m↑ 220m↓: walking time: 4.25 to 5.75 hours
