HAIBB Blood Bike SANDY - Rider Assessment - Part 2

The ride now continues along the B851, a short distance ahead we pass through the small settlement of Croachy. The next scheduled debrief stop will be in Dores, a small village on the southern side of Loch Ness. We eventually reach the end of this road at a "T" junction which joins the B862, a left turn leads all the way to Fort Augustus, we take the right turn and head back towards Inverness. The route passes close to Loch Ceo Glais, with the road being close to shore, it reminded me a bit like the run alongside Lochindorb. It has been a few years since I was last down this way, the cattle grid/s and sign reminded me there was plenty of sheep wandering around and on the road here before, but none today, all inside the fields. We carry onwards and briefly skirt past the southern end of Loch Duntelchaig, then ascend over the top to bring in the elevated views of Loch Ness below. Now descending over the other side into Dores ( via a brief stop to figure out what was happening with the Scaffy and passing places ) to make the scheduled stop for the 2nd debrief. Again, all comments from Karel well noted and well received, it was now time to remount and continue on to the 3rd and final part of today`s run.
