*This is my final wing for some time…REALLY!
*Sailboats I owned with my dad:
1. Venture 222 “Pop Top” Trailerable sloop (no outboard because my dad thought that was "cheating"). Later bought out by McGregor but no longer in business.
2. Neptune 24 sloop & this time with Honda outboard (learned from too many very light wind days bobbing about!) Produced by Capital Yachts but no longer in business (also produced the more popular & larger Newport sailboats)
Now sailing the Capri (Catalina) 22 at Harbor Island Yachts (San Diego, CA). It is a rental so not thoughtfully rigged for solo sailing...I move around a lot!
*Set to take the US Sailing “Cruising Course” in September. I have never piloted a wheel helm or used an inboard diesel engine so very excited.
