Lau Pa Sat, also known as Telok Ayer Market, is a popular hawker centre in Singapore. Recognized as a national monument, this iconic landmark blends food, architecture, and history together. It’s located at 18 Raffles Quay and is open from 10:00 to 21:00 from Monday to Sunday.

The centre is home to a variety of stalls offering authentic local and international cuisines1\. Some of the notable stalls include:

Thunder Tea Rice (Stall 31): Known as lei cha fan (擂茶饭), it offers a healthy alternative to the usual hawker fare. A bowl of green herbal soup is poured over a hearty portion of Hakka brown rice.

Pig’s Organ Soup & Kway Chap (Stall 7): The signature Kway Chap Set Meal includes sides of braised pork belly, tau kwa, tau pok, and pig offal.

The Beef House: Specializes in a variety of beef noodles and soups.
