Version II of this movie corrects some small points in Version 1 which has been deleted. It makes public the entire content of the original 8mm footage I took during the Falkland’s War in 1982. I commanded 59 Independent Commando Squadron Royal Engineers part of 3 Commando Brigade Royal Marines. It’s not meant to be a complete history. It’s simply what I shot at the time. The quality is somewhat compromised as its copied from 8mm to VHS to digital many years ago, each time by camera. It has not been edited, other than for screen format. My intent is to give you a feeling of what it was like to be there.
I am grateful to Ken McDonald in Australia for again allowing me to use his music.
