Forecasting and Regression Analysis in Excel

This video shows how to forecast the number of daily active users and total revenue for a company. The number of daily active users for Snapchat is predicted using Excel's Forecast Sheet tool. Snapchat's quarterly revenue is then predicted using regression analysis. (Note: performing a regression in Excel requires that the Analysis ToolPak add-in be installed.)

The data set used in the video contains quarterly data on daily active users and revenue for Snapchat going back to the first quarter of 2015. The data set can be obtained by signing up for the email list (link below) or becoming a supporter on Patreon (link below).
