How I fix a flopped pot on the pottery wheel-embrace it 😂
This video is all about mistakes 😂 and fixing them..making the best out of a wonky pot and remaining flexible along the way. I started out throwing a planter using approximately 5 pounds of clay. I have been working on throwing and pulling taller walls. The planter got thrown off center due to a thin spot and going too fast on the wheel. But I was able to save the pot and turn it into a bowl by cutting off the top portion with my needle tool. In the end, the bowl isn’t perfect but neither is life 😆 And guess what? Most of my wonky pots are in high demand..go figure. Just goes to show that beauty is in the eye of the beholder and what we may think is ugly, someone else thinks is a masterpiece. So cheers to imperfect pottery and wonky pots!
