Piri Pukeko’s Jig was on the programme for the 2024-'25 New Zealand RSCDS Summer School, held on December 30, 2024.
Music was by Aileen Logie and her band: Hilary Ferral and Jason Morris were joined for the evening by Ian Telfar and Andrew Uren.
The MC was Iain Matcham aka Piri Pukeko.
The evening was a fancy dress night with a theme of Kiwiana ... some (including the band members) came from back country farms, while also present were rugby players, kiwifruit and even a few pavlova puddings.
Appropriately, supper afterwards included Anzac biscuits, pineapple lumps and chocolate fish, with a motif of gumboots on the serviettes.
The dance was held in the Scots College hall, Wellington, New Zealand.
