Today we will work on Rigadoon by Henry Purcell from Suzuki Cello Book 1. You might already be taking cello lessons, and you want to prepare as well as you can. Here’s how I can help: you will not only be able to see me play, but I will make this lesson easy by showing icons and sheet music during my performance, showing exactly when to pay attention to rhythm, bowings, or fingerings. First, I'll play it for you in slow tempo without accompaniment, and then in faster tempo with Rigadoon cello piano accompaniment.
