AWS D 1,1: WHEN YOU NEED TO REQUALIFY WPS?
ESSENTIAL VARIABLES FOR WELDING PROCEDURE QUALIFICATION TEST

AWS D1.1 is the most popular international standard for structural steel works used to construct Steekl Structures.
Contractors all over the world utilizes this popular International code, AWS D1.1 due a bunch iof pre-quaklified Welding Procedures (WPS)- which can be used directly for construction without any kind of additional third party Procedure qualification tests.
But if the material does not fall under propular and common steel categories (as per the list in AWS d.1.), we need to run Procedure qualification test to support the WPS before submitting to our client prior to approval.
