How do you talk about people and events in your past? I’ll show you three ways to do that, using “to be”, “would”, and “used to”. You’ll learn how these each are used in English in different situations or to convey a particular meaning or mood. You’ll also learn both polite and informal ways to say that someone died: “pass away”, “no longer with us”, “croaked”, “dropped dead”, and more. Life has its ups and downs. It’s good to have the words to describe those times. After the lesson, take the quiz at https://www.engvid.com/learn-english-...
