It is part of the Horseneck Beach State Reservation which is an 800+ acres (320+ ha) public recreation area located in southern MA west of the Cape. This reservation provides 2 mi (3.2 km) of barrier beach and marshland opposite the beach. The area is highly popular during the summer season as seen in this episode.
