Bruce Fraser (1947-2017) is Scotland's leading composer for wind band. He has a large number of titles for wind band. He is also a well established composer in the brass band world where his works range from junior band works to test pieces for contests at several levels. Bruce was a popular and respected member of the banding community and, in addition to having a highly successful career in education - he taught tuba virtuoso James Gourlay amongst many others - was a prolific composer and arranger.
