Poor parts description and mixed up gears !! , yes I was having a moment those parts that hold the selectors in position are correctly called the shifter pawls not detents and definitely not balls , the detent is the notch in the shaft that the pawl sits in for the correct gear position , I'll get it right eventually . Also the gear description is not quiet correct the first gear I describe of course is reverse and 1st but also 3rd when the gear box is in high range and the second gear is of course 2nd and 4th when again in high range 5th and 6th are correct as being the two gears outside of the caseing again depending if it's in high or low range , sorry about the confusion . I'll shut up before I dig a deeper hole for myself , enjoy or not . Thanks
