The Ancient Greek verb ἀριστᾶν, depending on the period or author, can either mean to have breakfast or to have lunch, etymologically it is not related with the Ancient Greek noun ἀρετή (virtue), or with the superlative form of ἀγαθός, ie., ἄριστος, ἀρίστη, ἄριστον. The sonorous resemblance, however, is not only suitable for a pun, but it also provides an excellent opportunity for taking what David Fiedeler intended with his book Breakfast with Seneca, and Ryan Holiday with Daily Stoic one step further: Triodos-Trivium will be doing it in Ancient Greek.
