The media has been saying that there was a landslide on Marguerite and associating it with the landslide of Portuguese Bend. In my opinion, the land movement on Marguerite on September 27th in the evening was an effect of overwatering. Notice that the dirt was a dark brown and the "sluff" stayed together as a land mass, which may also suggest a water problem. There is no indication that there is bentonite in this area which is causing the landslide in the Portuguese bend area.

During the week of September 11 to 18:
15 new active homes with 6 price reductions.
9 homes into escrow - with 1 Crestwind selling in 6 days.
21 homes closed sale. 4181 Maritime which is very close to the slide sold for $1.6 7292 Berry Hill with a fabulous view sold for $2.229, and 30433 Via Rivera, a newly updated home sold for $2.42

During the week of September 18-25th:
26 new active homes with 12 price reductions
14 homes went into escrow with 6790 Vallon selling in 6 days with multiple offers
16 Closed sale with 3 off market sales on Manitowac, Saddleback, and 116 Via Alameda.

31 new active homes with 14 price reductions.
20 homes went into escrow; Via Victoria and Eastvale sold in 4 days
14 homes closed sale 417 Avenida Mirola sold off market for $1.95, 20 Via Del cielo sold for $5.12, and 2008 Via Visalia sold for $6.15
