My new water buffalo bible, in cranberry red, has arrived! ~ Review

This Church Bible Publishers King James bible is from their Platinum Series in water buffalo leather and the colour is called Cranberry. This bible came in the mail to, me in Australia, today after a 2 week wait and I can tell you now that the leather colour and texture is glorious! I forgot to show you the round gold stamp on the inside back cover: Genuine water buffalo, with AA Leather in the middle of that. A very different leather cover to what I am used to since my CBP bibles are all in ironed calfskin which is a super fine and soft leather. The water buffalo leather feels a bit glossier to look at and to the touch but is still has a lovely different kind of softness to it. I am glad I chose to buy this extra special leather bible which is in red letter in the size I like to hold and read all the time, so I know that it will be my favourite and most used bible from now on.

Well worth the price and I know that this bible will easily outlast me! Regarding the price: it was $120US with $65US to ship to Australia; so it was $275AU (all depends on current exchange rates at the time of purchase.) It came in a gift box, to protect it, even though I did not request one, which was really nice.

*My note: please always remember that after appreciating the tactile and visual pleasures let that become not the primary focus for our continued deepening in the Holy Spirit of truth is where we remain in the word of God. For me personally, I'll be reading this bible every day, within its precious pages, and also appreciate the cover, for as long as I remain on earth. Thanks for watching and God bless you!
