Heartbreak on the farm - the final update

This week was a true test of grit and determination on the farm.

We start with alarming news: one of our beautiful cows, Chloe, is down in the field. The team responds immediately, getting the vet out to assess her condition and making her as comfortable as possible, but the farm duties don't stop!
We have to press on with other urgent jobs, like getting the second load of sheep safely tucked into the polytunnel.
Then comes the dreaded task when Ben drops the bombshell—he needs the notoriously feisty and difficult Shetland ponies brought into the shed for scanning preparation, cueing a dark, wet, and chaotic chase around the field to bring them in!

Throughout the day, we keep a constant and worried eye on Chloe, and as the weather worsens, it becomes clear she needs to come inside for specialist care. The next day brings another massive logistical challenge: moving the rest of the cows to a new field to keep them happy and grazing before their own move indoors.
Meanwhile, our primary focus remains on Chloe; we are throwing everything we have at getting her back on her feet, but as the days progress, our worries are starting to grow.
