NEW 2024 Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 EVO -12H Misano 2024 - 535 HP 4.0-Litre V8 Twin-Turbo Engine

I enjoyed seeing and filming the new 2024 model year Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 EVO for the first time this year. We are at the Misano circuit in Italy for the 12H Misano endurance race organized by Creventic and part of the 24H Series championship. The New Zealand team Prime Speed ​​Sport has fielded the car in the GT3 PRO/AM class driven by Heremana Malmezac/Liam Talbot/Earl Bamber. The crew finished fourteenth overall and third in class after completing 335 laps. Announced in October 2023 but officially unveiled in February 2024, this EVO version uses the same 4.0-litre, 535-hp Twin-Turbo V8 engine installed in the same aluminium chassis as the latest version of the road-going Aston Martin Vantage. The XTrac 6-speed sequential gearbox moves it. Aerodynamics have been improved, as have the suspension and electronics. The updated front end allows more cooling air to reach the brakes for increased performance, and work has also been done to reduce pitch sensitivity and improve stability. Enjoy! 😉

Ho avuto il piacere di vedere e filmare per la prima volta quest'anno la nuova Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 EVO model year 2024. Ci troviamo sul circuito di Misano, in Italia, per la gara endurance 12H Misano prganizzata da Creventic e facente parte del campionato 24H Series. Il team Neozelandese Prime Speed Sport ha schierato la vettura in classe GT3 PRO/AM guidata dai piloti Heremana Malmezac/Liam Talbot/Earl Bamber. L'equipaggio è arrivato quattordicesimo nella classifica assoluta e terzo di classe dopo aver compiuto 335 giri. Annunciata ad Ottobre 2023 ma presentata ufficialmente nel mese di Febbraio 2024 questa versione EVO adotta lo stesso motore V8 Twin-Turbo da 4.0-Litri e 535 HP installato sullo stesso telaio in alluminio dell'ultima versione della Aston Martin Vantage stradale. A muoverlo ci pensa il cambio sequenziale XTrac a 6 rapporti. L'aerodinamica è stata migliorata , così come le sospensioni e l'elettronica. Il frontale aggiornato consente di far arrivare più aria di raffreddamento ai freni per aumentarne le prestazioni ed inoltre si è lavorato per ridurre la sensibilità al beccheggio e favorire la stabilità.
