Newly Uncovered Footage of Princess Diana Car Collision Four Years Before Fatal Crash (1993)

On 2 February 1993, Diana, Princess of Wales was involved in a car collision as she arrived at an engagement in South London. It was only a minor bump, but greater attention was drawn to the incident when it was learned Princess Diana had not been wearing a seatbelt at the time. Buckingham Palace said the Princess of Wales had been wearing a seatbelt for most of the journey, but had taken it off as the car turned into private property. The collision came a more than four years before Diana, Princess of Wales was killed in a fatal car crash in Paris.
