A friend of a friend has expressed interest in buying this truck from me. I really don’t want to sell it but I would sell it to the right person for the right price. It’s March 8th and still colder than I prefer…. I prefer 70° if you care to know.
The truck is a 1990 Kenworth W900B. The engine is a Detroit Diesel 12.7L 60 Series DDEC 1 with a 13 speed Eaton/Roadranger. It has Hendrickson 4 bag suspension and 3:55 gears. It is equipped with a Masport 75 air-cooled vac/pump. It has a driveline PTO. It is a classic. A survivor and a darn good runner.
Someone requested a colder cold start and 10°F is kind of the cut off without it being plugged in and having number 2 diesel in it. I used this truck to haul production water in the oil field and I also pulled a refer trailer across the US with it. It doesn’t pay enough to be gone from the house every night so I chose to go back to punching a clock twice a day.
