1970 Buick Skylark LS7 Build Project

Here's a 1970 Buick Skylark are building for a local owner. It will have some similarities to a GSX but this is not a clone. This will be a one of a kind Buick with lots of high end bits that will make it really stand out. We start with the Schwartz G-Machine chassis and Schwartz branded 6-piston brakes with a Schwartz modified GM LS7 mated to a Tremec 6-speed trans.

Frame & Suspension:
★ Schwartz Performance G-Machine chassis w/splined sway bars
★ Quick-ratio power steering rack
★ Baer Brakes 14" Pro-Plus 6 piston brake system front & rear
★ RideTech single-adjustable coilover shocks

Engine:
★ Schwartz Performance 675hp LS7 dry sump engine, 7.0L, custom cam grind
★ Chevrolet Performance ECU / wiring harness
★ Peterson aluminum dry sump tank
★ Wegner billet serpentine drive with ATI balancer, 170a alternator, Sanden AC, & type II power steering pump
★ Schwartz stainless 1.875” long tube headers
★ Custom 3” stainless steel & TIG welded exhaust with Magnaflow mufflers & SLP resonators

Drivetrain:
★ Tremec T56 Magnum
★ GM LS7 clutch & flywheel kit
★ Bowler Performance hydraulic clutch conversion
★ Custom steel driveshaft
★ Moser 9” rear end housing with Baer “Tracker” Full floater system, 31 spline axles
★ Currie nodular iron third member, 31 spline TrueTrac differential, 3.70 gear

Wheels & Tires:
★ Forgeline Schism wheels
★ 19x9 front wrapped in 255/35/19 Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires
★ 19x12 rear wrapped in 345/30/19 Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires

Paint & Body:
★ Shaved door handles - Kindigit Design
★ Custom striping by Schwartz Performance
★ Bodywork & paint by Schwartz Performance

Other Features:
★ Dakota Digital VHX gauges
★ Optima YellowTop battery w/Schwartz Performance billet mount
