Today I want to talk a little bit about the OP-1 and what makes it unique. Recently, I've noticed some comments talking about how other gear is "like the OP-1," and I began to realize that despite being out for 10 years, there are quite a few misconceptions about the OP-1. There is absolutely no single piece of electronic music gear that does what the OP-1 does, as the OP-1 is essentially a standard groovebox AND a 4 track tape recorder combined into a portable chassis. My honest hope is that the OP-1 gets a competitor in the future! Enjoy the video :)
