Join me for a summer walk at beautiful Highcliffe in Dorset! This peaceful town is home to one of the most architecturally important castles in the UK. It's mix of styles, French medieval, Renaissance, and Gothic Revival, give it an appearance which looks much older than it really is. Although not technically a castle, it served as a much loved mansion to many families and hosted some very famous guests over the years. Join me for an explore!
I then head to the stunning Highcliffe beach to talk to you about Highcliffe's links with Witchcraft, and in particular, Wicca. Highcliffe was the residence of Gerald Gardner, known as the Father of Wicca, during the later years of his life. Gardner brought Wicca to the mainstream, and met along the way, much controversy.
