I got my first period while we were on holiday! I was just relaxing on my phone when I needed to go to the toilet. After I went for a wee and wiped, I saw blood. I called my mom right away. I wasn’t scared because my parents had already prepared me for this, but I did have a little moment of panic.

Mommy comforted me, explained what was happening, and even had pads ready. She also asked Daddy (who was at work) to bring more pads on his way home.

Now, I’m here making this video with my mom to share my experience and give advice to other girls, so you know what to expect when your first period comes.
