In this session recorded at Unreal Fest Orlando 2025, we demonstrate techniques around capturing gameplay to help generate motion for cinematics or even gameplay prototyping.
Watch the video to learn how to use the Game Animation Sample Project to capture motion using Take Recorder, and then use Sequencer to create a few shots for a simple cinematic. Features covered include layered control rigs, time warps, deformers, trigger volumes, and ragdolls.
