Who do YOU say He is? | Positive Theology with Fiona de Lanerolle

To some, Jesus is a guru. To others, a prophet. But Christology—the theological study of the person and work of Christ—invites us into a much deeper and more dynamic understanding. It is not a fixed doctrine to be memorized, but a relational revelation that evolves as we grow in our encounter with Him.

By the time of Thomas Aquinas in the 13th century, Christology was recognized as a distinct theological discipline, addressing questions that remain central to the Christian faith: Who is Jesus? How does He mediate between God and humanity? What is the cosmic and personal significance of His incarnation, crucifixion, resurrection, and ascension?
When Jesus asked Peter, “Who do you say I am?”, He was not merely testing theological knowledge—He was pointing to the kind of knowledge that can only be revealed, not reasoned. This revelation is still unfolding today for those who are willing to look again, to reconsider, and to allow Christ to grow in their eyes.

Fiona de Lanerolle founded Co-WOWLife Church alongside her husband Kirby de Lanerolle and the Warehouse Project and has worked for over a decade in the apparel industry and digital design solutions, including establishing training facilities for students in design. Both she and her husband are certified High Flow Coaches by the Flow Research Institute. Fiona earned her LLB (Hons) from Buckingham University in the UK and her Master’s in Theology at Fuller Seminary in California.
