How to convert a wpl d12 to brushless with an outrunner motor
Those type of motors are super cheap but they provide lot of torque and low RPM, so you can skip the reduction gearbox
So attaching the motor directly at the transmission, i would call it an almost direct drive
modify stock receiver and transmitter to be used with an external brushless ESC
The car is still very noce to drive, ca ride at about 3-4 km per hour without cogging.
Used motor on final test is a 2212 935kV
Esc is a tsky 120A (don t think those are real 120A , it cost only 12 euro)

If you really are in a budget you can buy a bidirectional 12A esc
