For over 4 years Des Sourires Pour Le Togo tries to help the people in one of the poorest countries in the world. 40% of Togo population are under 14 years old and therefore the supporters and members of the association try to strengthen the children's rights, the living conditions and future prospects of those who are not responsible for sometimes the precarious circumstances in which they are born. Having returned well from the last trip, the association invited to Tägerwilen to take stock. The presentations from Togo started with African rhythms: The members reported on the stations of this year's 2000 km trip in a rented bus. The stations included visits to existing projects such as the Sinai orphanage in Kpalime, which is the only one in the region to house newborns. In Agou Apegame, it was made sure that the association's first well still workes flawlessly. Also over 100 HIV tests were carried out. In Kara, a mini-Olympics was held. This is important for social integration as sport can bring individual children and adolescents from isolation and into a community. Another highlight was the opening of Ecole Madleine at Agou Doglobo, where even the national television was on site. The necessary funds for the projects and international transactions also aroused interest elsewhere: In a screening initiated by Interpol, the association could prove that they built 4 wells and a primary school, equipped dozens of orphanages and Sports clubs, founded 6 computer science centers. Also over 20,000 children were supplied with school material. This process is an official assurance that the supporters and members of DSPLT provide basic development assistance in Togo. The projects of the association contribute to the improvement of human rights and human dignity. An extremely interesting and motivating evening came to an end and we say goodbye with African rhythms in the sky over Lake Constance.

Ein Hilfsprojekt für Kinder in den Vorstädten der Hauptstadt Lomé in Togo. Un projet d'aide aux enfants dans les faubourgs de la capitale Lomé au Togo. Wir sind ein junger Verein aus der Ostschweiz, der soziale und nachhaltige Projekte im Togo realisiert. Neben der Verschiffung von Gütern, welche wir vor Ort genau den Leuten verteilen, die es am nötigsten haben, ist unser Ziel, so vielen Menschen wie möglich ein Lächeln ins Gesicht zu zaubern. Dank einem kompetenten und vertrauensvollen Team im Togo, können wir mit den Spenden Projekte in den Bereichen Wasser, Bildung und Gesundheit umsetzen, wovon viele Leute nachhaltig profitieren können. Uns ist es ein grosses Anliegen, dass die erhaltenen Spenden, wirklich dort landen, wo Hilfe gebraucht wird und wir in unseren Jahresberichten dokumentieren, was wir dank den erhaltenen Spenden erreichen konnten. Alle unsere Vereinsmitglieder engagieren sich ehrenamtlich und können aktiv an unserem Hilfsprojekt teilnehmen. Wir sind dauernd auf der Suche nach tollen Events und Spendenaktionen, um die Freude für dieses Hilfsprojekt mit Euch zu teilen. Wir sind wie eine grosse Familie, wo alle willkommen sind und wir miteinander probieren, etwas Gutes zu tun, wobei wir uns vor allem für die vielen Kinder im Togo einsetzen. Das Hilfsprojekt „Des sourires pour le Togo“ ist unser gemeinsames kleines Baby, das noch gerade lernt zu Laufen und wir unser Bestes geben, damit es hoffnungsvoll in die Zukunft blicken kann. Jede und jeder kann mitmachen und ein Teil dieser tollen Familie sein. Wir freuen uns auf jegliche Unterstützung, jede Spende und bedanken uns bei allen, die mit uns gemeinsam an eine bessere Welt glauben! Ohne Euch wäre das alles gar nicht möglich!
