A newsreel item from 1949 showing a military parade in Hunter Street, Newcastle of the amphibious Fifteenth Northern Rivers Lancers, part of the Citizen Military Forces.
Soldiers march to a band followed by amphibious tanks while crowds line the street. At Nobbys Beach, the tanks plunge into the sea, plough past Nobbys Head, into Port Hunter, and onto another beach.
