Atop snowcapped mountains, the group encounters a decaying dragon whose corruption spreads to all it touches. As the killing blow is dealt, mist begins to seep from its body, shotting quick as an arrow toward Ash. Jack attempts to absorb the mist with his crystal, but they are both swallowed in its embrace.
Jack is overcome by a strange vision; a sterile white room. A single window showing a familiar see of tall grass. An unknown person who seems to flicker in and out of existence. Also in this room is Ash, but from a time Jack does not recognize.
\With a sharp breath, Jack returns to his senses. Ash thanks him, but Jack seems more interested in getting on with his quest. As if to distract himself from what the saw, Jack marches deeper into the cavern of earth, his mid only on the fiend ahead.
