Just two days after Brian's birthday gig in Cologne, Queen's final tour continues further south, having two concerts in Austria's capital, something they had done on every 80s tour from the Hot Space tour onwards. As they hadn't had the chance to wish him a happy birthday on the actual day, the Viennese begin singing the song before 'Love of My Life', which audibly makes Brian really happy though he doesn't launch into '39 tonight unfortunately. In its place, Freddie seems to be feeling a bit nostalgic tonight, giving the audience the intro of 'Mustapha' for the first time since Brussels, although tonight he sings it before 'Who Wants to Live Forever', thus dropping the rumour speech tonight. If there was a particular reason for that (like a fight backstage) is unknown and perhaps it was just because the audience was chanting for the song and Freddie didn't want to delay the continuation of the show further. Later, he makes his last ever reference to 'Get Down, Make Love' during the Impromptu. As the entire show was once again filmed by an audience member, we can see Brian dropping his sixpence during 'Now I'm Here' and improvising with just his fingers before picking up a spare! Later, the footage reveals the band passing around Freddie's crown during the outro tape, ending the show with a quite warm gesture.
