ABOUT REJOICE II
The Marionettes Chorale’s adult and youth choirs presented Rejoice II in July, 2025 at the Church of the Assumption (Maraval); Arouca Revival Tabernacle (the site of the recording); and the Church of the Holy Spirit (Malabar). Proceeds of the last two concerts will be shared with the respective churches.

Rejoice II features an uplifting programme that ranges from classical and spirituals, to gospel and evergreen pop hits. According to Artistic & Musical Director Gretta Taylor, “In this programme, we praise and we pray; we hope, and we imagine a changed world — one full of love, in which we can rejoice and find happiness … with a liitle help from the gift of music!”

The programme features some of the choir’s beloved soloists, along with the Marionettes Youth Chorale (founded in 1995) and its emerging young stars — all under the batons of Gretta Taylor, Caryll Warner, Joshua Joseph, and a very special guest, Dr Nathan Nagir from the Texas State University School of Music.

The series is proudly supported by Flow (Columbus Communications), the One Caribbean Media (OCM), and Music Radio 97.1FM.
